All 257 staff members working in the Explosive Ordnance Survey and Clearance Program at RENEW/NPA on Wednesday, 11 May 2022, attended a staff orientation meeting held in Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province. This was the first time all staff were able to meet together in more than two years following multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting aimed to help our staff fully understand the benefits and legal rights and enhance their knowledge of internal regulations, policies, and procedures. All staff also increased their knowledge on cross-cutting issues related to their work such as gender, diversity, safeguarding, and environmental protection.

Our thanks to the Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM/WRA) for funding our survey and clearance operations in Quang Tri Province.
