Our colleagues Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh, Provincial Program Manager of NPA/RENEW, and Nguyen Thi Hai Van, team leader of the all-women clearance team, took part in a talk show featuring the role and contributions of women from different organizations and sectors to peace and security. The talk was co-hosted by the Vietnam Military Radio and Television Center and the Vietnamese Women’s Museum in Hanoi on 20 December 2023 in celebration of the 79th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army.
Sharing our ongoing work in addressing the war consequences, Linh and Van highlighted women’s equal and important role in bringing hope and security to the community. The two described the daily challenges and rewards of undertaking this dangerous but meaningful work as well as our staff’s commitment to making Vietnam safe from the impact of unexploded ordnance.
