Over the years, Project Renew has made significant strides in making Quang Tri Province safer and more prosperous. Here’s a snapshot of our collective achievements:

Explosive Ordnance Survey and Clearance

  • 120,000 explosive ordnance items safely removed and destroyed.
  • 549 million m² identified and mapped for clearance.
  • 18.5 million m² of land cleared and returned for community development.
  • 70,000 individuals interviewed for UXO-related information.

Explosive Ordnance Risk Education

  • 734 educational sessions conducted in schools and communities.
  • 400,000 pairs of protective shoes provided to children.
  • 1,590 Youth Union officials and teachers trained as educators.
  •  Over 200,000 children educated on safety measures.

Victim Assistance / Disability Support

  • 3,000+ amputees fitted with artificial limbs and assistive devices.
  • 2,878 individuals educated on disability rights and laws.
  • 135 visually impaired members trained in vocational skills.
  • 30 families affected by Agent Orange received home renovations.
  • 2,300 emergency responders trained in life-saving techniques.
